Customer Support Technician

CabMaster Software provides design & manufacturing solutions for the cabinet making industry. We’re expanding into new territories, so we’re looking for a new addition to our customer support team.

This role is a fast-paced position in IT to support our customers in their day-to-day use of our software, both onsite and online.

Daily tasks as a team member of CabMaster Customer Support include:

  • Assisting our customers with their software questions
  • Receiving and making phone calls to customers
  • Running 1-on-1 training sessions with customers onsite and online
  • Logging software bugs for our development team
  • Liaising with management, accounts and sales teams

Our ideal candidate is either an IT graduate with an interest in trades, or a tradesperson with an interest in software/IT. Your application will be strengthened by the following skills:

  • Great critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication via phone and email
  • Can keep a cool demeanour and respectfully use de-escalation tactics
  • Outside-the-box thinking

Technical Salesperson

At CabMaster Software, we provide our customers with software that solves their problems, increases their production capabilities and streamlines their design & manufacturing processes. We’re expanding into new territories, so we’re looking for a new addition to our sales team.

The salesperson we are searching for will be driven, a quick learner and customer focused, with strong negotiation skills and an ability to demonstrate our products in a compelling way both in person and online.

The daily tasks of our new CabMaster Salesperson include:

  • Preparing for and performing engaging demonstrations of our products
  • Contacting leads and following up the sales pipeline
  • Occasional cold calling for new lead generation
  • Updating our CRM with notes and pipeline progress
  • Sending quotes and invoices
  • Maintaining rapport with existing customers
  • Cultivating relationships with CNC machine manufacturers, material suppliers, hardware companies
  • Liaising with management team and accounts

Our ideal candidate has either a background or a keen interest in both IT and trade (especially cabinetmaking), and has the following skills and traits:
